Welch’s “Share What’s Good” Photo Contest & Some of My Favorite Mommy Moments #sharewhatsgood

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Welch’s. I received product samples to facilitate my review, and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

To me, while I absolutely love being a mom but it’s also incredibly stressful much of the time. Some days I just don’t know how I get through it, those days where the girls don’t take any naps and are just so beyond tired hyper, whiny and flat out slap happy I think I might go bat poop crazy BUT even if I’ve spent the day with both girls orbiting around me and Loo Loo pulling at my pant leg crying or Pinky whining about how she needs more grape juice or explaining that she has to eat pudding right NOW and not eat her dinner.

In between these moments of chaos and stress those moments of pure bliss are sprinkled in. You know, those moments that make all those stressful and chaotic moments just melt away.

I want to share one of my favorite moments with you. The other day I was running around trying desperately to make a dent in my laundry situation. I brought the girls upstairs with me to play while I finally put the folded laundry that had been staring at me for a couple of days. I walked in our closet to hang a shirt and came back out to this wonderful sight –

My Girls - Sisterly Love

My girls have so much fun together and I love as Loo Loo gets older how they are starting to really play together more and more. Loo Loo is always trying to keep up with her big sis, hence, crawling at just 6 months old and standing just a couple of weeks later!

Another wonderful moment of mine. We’re about to go to Disney World and I can’t tell you how excited Pinky is. Her favorite Disney movie is Cinderella and I got this costume for her so she could dress up when she went to meet Cinderella. When I opened the package she was so excited and she said, “Oh my, it’s so beautiful!”. She had to immediately put it on and do some poses –

Dressed Up for DisneyAfter that I had to get her out of it because we had to rush off to her dance class and boy was it a fight to get it off of her (and back to the chaos it was!)

It’s moments like this that inspired the Welch’s Share what’s good campaign. Welch’s is a favorite in my home, my Pinky is obsessed with grape juice so much so I didn’t even have the opportunity to snap a picture of some of the yummy Welch’s juice we received before Pinky (and Daddy Digger *cough*) drank it all.

That picture of your two girls is so cute! I don’t know how you handled a crawling 6 month old. My youngest just started at 8 months and has ramped up the craziness! Thank goodness for those blissful moments, right? 😉

It’s insanity I tell you and she’s not happy just sitting and playing ever so I’m constantly chasing her around LOL! She always goes for the one thing in the room that she shouldn’t have so sitting is a rare thing these days :) These blissful moments definitely ease the stress of two crazy tots :)
