Universal Studios Orlando : Blue Man Group Review
After our exciting day at Universal Studios (and a nap) we headed back to Universal’s City Walk to go see Blue Man Group. My husband saw them years ago and raved about them so I was super excited to go and see the show for myself along with the girls and my husband.
When we entered the Aquos Theatre we were handed out complimentary earplugs for the kids and they even had a booster seat so Pinky could see the show better.
I had seen the Blue Man Group on commercials and television shows before but didn’t quite know what to expect watching an entire show. We all waited in anticipation for the show to start and when it did, the lights dimmed and 3 blue men came out.
Not long after the music started and the show was in full swing! I glanced over at Pinky to see the look on her face when the music started jamming and the Blue Man Group beat the drums with paint on them. Her face was lite up in such excitement and she was smiling ear to ear and bobbing around with the music.
The show not only had incredible music but it was hilarious and interactive. The audience got to take part in many of the acts and they even brought a couple of the audience members on stage. I don’t want to give too much away because it is truly something to be seen and simple words cannot give it justice.
It was incredibly creative with huge PVC pipe instruments, comedy and if you sit in the front row your certain to get hit with some paint for some extra fun The light show that went along with it all was amazing as well.
The show was incredible and both girls, even 8-month-old Loo Loo, had their eyes locked onto the stage throughout the entire show. The band was killer, the show was entertaining and funny for the entire family.
After the show ended with a bang (seriously, the finale was awesome) the stars of the show even come out to meet you and take pictures. They are hilarious even though they don’t speak a word and had everyone laughing even after the show. Loo Loo and I got to take our picture with them
If you’re in the Orlando area or planning your Orlando vacation I would highly recommend checking this show out, it was great fun and entertainment for the whole family. Visit UniversalOrlando.com for more information and to purchase tickets.
