Holiday Gift Guide | iTikes Piano Keyboard Review & Giveaway

iTikesPinky has been a huge fan of music since she was just a few months old. Her favorite song to go to sleep to was the Black Eyed Peas Imma Be (I kid you not!). She loves all different genres of music and will dance every chance she gets. We love to encourage her love for music by exposing her to all types of instruments and sounds.

iTikes Keyboard

The new iTikes Keyboard is a great toy to continue to encourage and teach her about music! On it’s own the iTikes Keyboard is fun for her to play her own tunes and learn the keys. BUT, what makes it really great is when you hook it up to an iPad or iPhone. We downloaded the iTikes Piano app for free and set it in the iTikes Keyboard slot. The iPad quickly recognizes that it’s connected to the iTikes Keyboard and you can choose from a bunch of different interactive games and fun music lessons. The apps teach kids all the names of the notes, musical staff and pitch training. It even has play along songs so that they can learn to play favorites like Old MacDonald and more.

Here is Pinky learning Old MacDonald on her iTikes Keyboard –

Pinky has lots of fun playing the different games, her favorite is one where she plays a key and a firework show will coordinate with your music on the iPad.

Just yesterday, my 4 years old said, “Mommy, it would be awesome if I could play piano.” *Hint hint…
This is so cool because IT would teach her… Love how the keys light up as a guided lesson. :-) ~Jen

How neat, I love the interactivity with the iPad! My son loves music and this would be great to start him early on learning the piano :)

What a great way to introduce her to music! My son loves music too and he’s always stealing my iPad, I think this would be perfect for him.

This is great for that little person that loves music and loves to ponce on the keyboard. i like that it has
different interactive games and fun music lessons included in it. I especially like that I can turn the sound down lower – lots of toys dont have that and some are way to loud. A good learning and fun keyboard all in one. Thanks for the review
