My social media news feeds this week were buzzing about the US making it to the next round in the FIFA World Cup. The big day is almost here with team USA taking on Portugal in Brazil, GO USA! The World Cup is such a huge event and one of the most viewed sporting events in the world.
Coca-Cola put together a song just for the 2014 FIFA World Cup titled The World Is Ours. If you haven’t seen “The World is Ours” Remix music video featuring Aloe Blacc, David Correy and Wisin yet be sure to check it out. It’s a great song that sticks with you.
The song is catch and also has a inspiring message. The song was produced by Brazilian-born Mario Caldato Jr., features Brazilian percussion band Monobloco and brings a variety of Brazilian musical flavors – including samba, baile funk and technobrega – to the world. It’s a great inspiring and positive song with a beat that you can’t help but want to dance to.
Limited-Edition FIFA World Cup Packaging
You may have already seen the specially designed FIFA World Cup Coca-Cola bottles but if you haven’t just yet look for the new design on bottles of Coca-Cola, fridge packs and cans.
The packaging was designed by Brazilian artist, Speto, and captures the spirit of Brazilian street art. The colours used are from the Brazilian flag. They are meant to celebrate the game of soccer and how a game can bring the people of the world together like the World Cup does.
