The Isle of Jura looks amazing, doesn’t it?! Right now you can enter to win a trip to the Isle of ┬áJura in the ┬áCapture a ‘Spirited Community’ Contest! Get the details below:

Capture a ‘Spirited Community’ through Jura Whisky’s photography competition. You don’t have to be a professional photographer to win, you just have to submit a picture that you think best represents a sense of community spirit. Three winners will be selected for a week’s trip for two to Jura (a Scottish isle that holds less than 200 people) to experience the island’s special community spirit.

It only takes minutes to register and submit a picture. Once you do that, tell your friends and family to go on, register and vote. Each vote gets you one step closer to an expense-free trip to Jura, but hurry because your last chance to enter is at midnight on August 3rd! Even if you don’t want to submit a picture, you may vote for one you see on the website and you will be automatically considered for some Jura giveaway goodies.

The winner will also receive:

  • A photography workshop on the island with internationally acclaimed photographer David Nightingale
  • State of the art olympus PEN (E-PL3) camera

  1. community spirit for us would be a parade in the honor of a fallen hero, or a fundraiser for a community member in need of medical care, or maybe on a lesser scale, to rally a sport team

  2. To me, community spirit is all of the neighbors being willing to help each other out in times of need, even if they don’t know each other well.

  3. Community spirit is when the great people of our town make a group effort to ensure that all of our residents have a great holiday season. I love living in a small town were everyone is friends and everyone really cares about their neighbor.
