Brilliant Sky Toys & Books : A Toy Store Unlike Any Other!
Disclosure: I received a gift card to facilitate my post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Toy stores used to hold a special charm that captured the imagination of children. Somewhere along the way stores lost that charm and it became more about the bottom line than encouraging children’s imagination and learning.
Well, that charm still stands strong at Brilliant Sky Toys & Books! Brilliant Sky Toys & Books has 15 locations around the US and my family and I are very fortunate to have one just a short drive from my home. Each of these stores are owned and operated by local folks!
We got to visit our local Brilliant Sky Toys & Book store and check it out for ourselves. When you enter the store you know instantly, this is no big box toy store.
The care and thought that was put into all the decor details are bar none to any toy store I’ve ever stepped in. The walls are hand painted with murals of fun scenes. The checkout desk is even a fun clubhouse!
The staff is all very knowledgeable on all of the toys and activities and are very happy to help you find that perfect toy for someone or direct you to the toy on your child’s wishlist.
They carry many different brands and unique toys including the oh-so-popular rainbow looms and rubber bands, Melissa and Doug, Calico Critters, all kinds of crafts, lots of books, I could go on and on. We came home with a few items of our own including…
The store layout was so organized – crafts, toys for babies, imaginary play and toys for the bigger kids are all in their own sections so it’s easy to browse and find what you’re looking for. Check out some of my photos from my local toy store –
All of the sections are so fun, colorful and inspiring to the imagination! I honestly felt a bit like a kid again inside our store. I especially loved this little dress up area – how cute is this?!
I brought Pinky and Loo Loo with me for our visit to the store and Pinky was absolutely smitten! She could have stayed there playing with the toys for hours. The owners told me they love having the kids come out to play and sometimes parents make a weekly stop in just to visit and let their kids play with the toys!
They had a huge wooden train table out and a sand toy that I could not rip Pinky from the entire time 🙂
Brilliant Sky Toys & Books stores are truly an experience. I enjoyed our visit so much and it’s so refreshing to see a toy store that holds that charm of adventure, imagination and exceptional, personal customer service.
If your looking for a special toy for your children or someone you know I would definitely recommend visiting a Brilliant Sky Toys & Books store. Visit the Brilliant Sky Toys & Books to find a store near you.
